Rooted in Thomas Henricks’s structural models of self-location, we analyze how individuals and institutions position themselves across four primary patterns: marginality, privilege, subordination, and engagement. This framework

allows us to assess who holds special rights, who faces systemic barriers, and how these internal dynamics shape collective behavior and access within the broader ecosystem.

Rather than relying on mere moral persuasion, we treat entrenched systems as structural matrices of players, rules, and incentives. In game theory, power is the ability to dictate the rules, choices, and payoffs of any strategic interaction. We use this rigorous psychological and mathematical framework to shift the focus from changing individual hearts and minds to altering systemic architecture—disrupting extractive behavior by rewriting the payoffs and rules of engagement so that cooperation and liberatory power become the most rational choices.

Moving beyond traditional charts that focus purely on management, our leadership ladder framework is rooted in grassroots community organizing. We map out how individuals evolve from passive supporters into highly strategic, power-moving leaders. This framework balances rights with clear responsibilities, all anchored by continuous capacity building and ongoing leadership advancement.
